Question video clips????

Please help
When I downloaded a particular video file, the down load was succesfull. However when I tried to burn it onto a blank DVD my nero burning softwear did not recognize it. The type of file it is, is called a "video clip" can i convert this to somthing that nero will burn?

Without giving me the filename, what is the file's format? (.avi, wmv, .mpeg...)

Try to burn it as a SVCD, all newer DVD players are suppoting this format. Nero is able to convert .avi, .mpg and a few other formats by its own.

Like QuickTime, AVI can just be the outer shell & can contain different variable formats within it. Chances are it's an avi-divx format or possibly avi-3ivx being the most common. You can dwnld codecs for these at: http://www.divx-digest.com/software/nimo_pack.html
OR/& 1. DivX, 2. XviD, 3. 3ivx
