As soon as I downloaded limewire and also downloaded "skins", I got a message telling me I have a trojan horse virus and to scan. I've done this several times, but message comes back later. I would appreciate any help you can give me. thanks

Where did you get the skins from?
Are you sure you have the latest virus definitions?
When the message telling you that you have a trojan pops up, write down the name and go to Antivirus company's site (for example if you have Norton, go to Symantec): they should have removing tools available.

Check the configuration of your antivirus-tool: Is it configured to delete the infected file? If you use Windows NT/XP, your Software may need administrator rights to delete some files.
