okay..yes I am a newby ::shameful look::::
1) I can download music- (go me, I figured it out)..it all appears to be successful. I listen to it on my computer and it sounds great. Take it to another stereo.. and sounds like a radio tuned one click off a station. You can hear the song but it has that "off station" static. 2) I also wanted to download a *** program, which I did years ago from another source...sooooooooooo...I found one I wanted...downloaded it..and although it was an .exe file when it was extracted there was not an install file or anything. It did have a file of codes/verifications for me to put in the proper place but that was the only file that was openable. 3) I am blonde, old, disable and all the other things that make this difficult for me. lol Gotta love me Sorry can't talk about wares on the forum. If you've burnt them to CD before playing on your stereo, then it could be the quality of the cd-r media. The old cheapo brands are not worth the wasted time. The worst come from China & Taiwan. Some don't start to distort until after about 6 to 12 months. Get a decent brand of cd media & have it burn well & last for many years. Also burn your media at the minimum speed! Not at 50 speed!
What softw are you using to burn with? Some mp3 softw can allow you to maximise/normalise or add volume to the audio tracks. Should be careful in that regard. I have softw that can normalise to my desired % of the maximum safe level. |

My partner had the same problem but it wasn't the CD (don't know whether they were cheap or anything) but it was the way he burnt it, we ended up using Windows Media Player and just followed what it asked and wam bam thank you mam it worked.
Honest you'll work it out, took me a while. Have fun
