![]() Thanks for the response Fabion. That was the first thing I did - adware, spyware and virus check. I made sure I'd got the latest updates before running them. Came up with no hits. I only got the system in Jan this year so everything is pretty much new. I'm running windows xp on a HP pavillion 80 gig hd, 512 ram, Pentium 4 - 2.9 GHz. Not sure what else I can tell you. (I'm not really what you'd call a computer guru although I am learning every day). The really strange thing is that the avi files still play with no problem. I usually use Windows Media player and when that didn't work I tried Real player and VLC, still nothing. Once again, any light you can shed would be greatly appreciated. Yours truly Desparately seeking music. |
