avi downloads

Relatively new to downloading using limewire.
Using a wireless modem connection via windows xp and although still quite slow, I do successfully download movies (eventually). Only problem is they come through as audio only. I have windows media player 10, a DivX player, winamp and I am always told to download codecs...?? What codecs do I need for what player, where do I get them and how do I use them??? Hope someone can help!!!

Download the Nimo codec pack (a search through the forums for "Nimo" should get plenty of results. Of course, I mean use the search function).
That should be enough.
