When go to monitor I see downloads of the music I have selected. I also see explict words and sex which I have not downloaded. Anyone know what this means, exactly?

k the best way is to filter that muck out. One way is to see this: autogenerated spam results Get to recognise file sizes. It will help you to know what's what. Also see the format of the file. If you do an Any Type search you can filter the results by clicking on the format of the file you're after. eg: mp3 or avi

LOTR i think shes talking about the MONITOR tab in LW. if this is the case , the lower window is showing you the files other people are getting from you(the files your sending to other people). and the upper window is showing you incoming searches from other people. how it works is : all the stuff you download comes from other people, your computer is on a massive network with millions of other computers, all the computers listen and talk to each other. when sombody types "greenday" or "sex" into there search , the search is sent out to thousands of other computers all of wich cheak to see if the search matches any of the files it is sharing, if sed computer has a match it sends a list back to the computer that started the search. if it dosent have any maches it dosent do anything. your computer is just listening to other peoples search requests (wich you are seeing in the upper window of the "monitor" tab. nothing bad is being downloaded to your computer . but if the crap that other people search for bothers you ,there should be a small box near the upper left of your screen that sez "show"with the words"incoming searches" directley above it. just un cheak this box and it should stop showing you a list of all the searches/crap people are looking for.
