When I try to burn my avi files to dvd I get an error message"no video decoder for this stream type(DVDerr,-47003)How can I get these avi files on to dvd? Thanks for your help.

Well there's many many different types of avi files out there. Which burner program are you using? I'd have imagined Nero or Roxio full versions should be able to handle most. To burn to dvd it means they need to convert them to mpeg2. You could try TMPG (click on link)

The best program (by far) is the old beta versions of divx to dvd, it is much much faster and is completly free with no ads or spyware.
go to vso-software.fr and download one of the old beta versions (or search for it on download.com or shareaza_ |
