iv never heard of HDTV files. i would think that they were just hi rez avi files... and id think that the compression of the files that are floating around on the internet would degrade them so much that it would cancel out the point of HDTV...


and how the f*ck did you get 3 replys and way more reads than my harddrive question that i poasted befor you poasted this one????

dose everyone have me on there ignore list or somthing??

or is everything i say just boring....

from my understanding, HDTV files are meant to be played from your computer directly to the HDTV...if one follows the above process with a regular TV, the results will be unsatisfactory...of course one can take one of these HDTV .avi files and recode to an SVCD or somesuch, and then be able to play on a regular TV..
