Check your files. When I updated to version 7 of itunes I found it was incompatible with previous libraries, and it no longer works with Limewire.)
You may have a file that contains your old library, as well as the new one.
You can probably copy the missing songs over manually. (You may need to reformat them first.)

If you have a version of itunes that still works with Limewire DO NOT UPGRADE. Versions 6 or earlier work fine. Set your itunes to not allow
automatic updates.

If you already installed version 7 or higher it's to late.

You can downgrade to an earlier iTunes & keep the songs in your library. There are instructions for Mac & Win XP in this post: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/tips-t...tml#post327806

I don't use Vista, but I guess it would be possible to use the XP instructions (not sure if the 'my music' folder is in the same place with Vista)
