I'm a newbie..I want to search for old gangster movies with actors such as Edgar Robinson, Jimmy Cagney and the like. I don't know the names of many of the movies, or what year they might have been made. Can anyone tell me how to search for this type of movie, or if it's even possible?

You might have more luck if you use Google first. Look for (actor's name) - movies, or simply the actors' names. This will probably get you names of movies & when they were made etc.

When you're searching with LW try 'all types' as well as video. Vary your search terms too, you'll get different results that way. Also, search at different times of day...people in other time zones will be logging on & off at different times
