I had found this link when I did my search...
I didn't understand though if I needed a DVD burner in my computer. But I'm going to practice this afternoon and see what I can figure out. Thanks everyone! |

OK:..I've read thru the information pages on Nero...Vision 4, the Nero 7, etc...I found one reference to having to have a DVD writer on your computer...but then another reference that you can burn on CD...
Which is it and how to do it? |

Depends on the size of the file you want to burn and what you want to watch it with. I would go for the DVD as you can burn several files at one time and be able to watch it on your pc and DVD player. I'm not sure about burning video files onto CD - these are usually used for audio files.

You must have a DVD burner to burn a DVD.
Most DVD burners will also burn CD's larry |

You can convert your videofiles to VCD or SVCD if you want to burn them to CD. I have never tried this. I burn everything exept Audio-CD to DVD. Should be easy though and I'm sure that someone on this forum knows how to do it

Turn on NeroVision then add the file that you want to convert. If it is Nero7 then it will decide on it's own what quality it burn at to make it fit on one DVD. It takes a while to convert+burn (approx 2 hours depending on how fast your computer is)
DO NOT run any other programs while making it. NeroVision draws every drop of juice out of your processor while converting (100% CPU) Just put your empty DVD in the burner. Start the program and leave it alone until finished |

Doesn't it have a program called Nero Vision Express. Should work just about the same way. Can't really remember any differences (long time since I upgraded)
