-There appears to be no function to stop limewire automatically launching during the start up phase when you turn your PC/Mac on. Am I missing something obvious or is this function not available in Limewire..cos its pissin' me off darnit!

For PC, go to menu bar, Tools>Options>Advanced>System startup & disable option. For mac, control comma ⌘ , to get prefs & do the same.

Did this and it still auto launches. This is driving me crazy too! Now what do we do???

If it's still auto launching then sounds like you accidentally got caught by a virus. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/open-d...uld-aware.html which puts an item into the system startup items.

When Limewire launches got to OPTIONS and where it states "start up and shutdown" uncheck the box and re-start............
