My first thought about your problem is that it may be related to "extended characters" in the file names you wish to download and a conflict with such extended characters in the Gnutella 'client' you are using.

Can you please reply with information about what program (client) you are now using ? (And any other info about your internet connection or firewall.)

It is possible that the files you desire are either in Arabic script or contain components of Arabic script.
