Default Shareaza: can not connect to gnutella

I am running windows 2000. I have comcast as my ISP. I am running McAfee forewall and have a netgear wireless network. I have port forwarding configured. I can connect to eDonkey but can not connect to Gnutella 1 or 2. Any help will be appreciated?

Please, there's a Shareaza forum for that.
You can install the latest shareaza from the Filehippo mirror: Download Shareaza 2.2.5.6 RC1 - filehippo.com
That should do it

In your McAffee firewall you need to set it to allow Gnutella, Shareaza & also whichever Gnutella port you are using. By default this is normally port 6346 but check the program to see which it uses. Also, disable your XP firewall. Running both McAffee & XP firewall will cause problems & less security not more.

Shareaza uses only one port for all connections, because all networks use different packets.
But yes, it should be 6346, but you can look it up for sure in Tools=>Shareaza Settings=>Connection=>Port number
If you wish to be sure, try the test at: Shareaza Connection Test
