 What Codec's do I need for Windows Media Player to play .AVI Movies ? First i dont need help that much from any body but this time i do what Coodec's do i need for the Windows Media Player to play AVI Movies.i no there is a list here just not sure witch one to get.And i all ready use the VLC player i just like WMP better. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/tips-t...p3-fixers.html Chris B......

 Try this pac.... For XP this codec pac is very good Download XP Codec Pack 2.0.8 - XP Codec Pack is one of the most complete codec pack Or for Vista this pac Vista Codec Package v4.4.7 Beta 4a (freeware)

| How do you use the Codecs Player I downloaded it but dont know how to use it. |

| After you have downloaded the codec pac it will apply itself to your computer...It's your choice what media player you want to use... Some suggestions... For movies : Try installing the VLC media player, it has all the codecs pre-installed and can play just about all files... VLC media player - Overview For Music : itunes or Windows Media Player (WMP also plays movies)...
