Before AND After you have downloaded and installed Recuva, DO NOT SHUT DOWN your computer...
DO NOT allow any update activity...
DO NOT do ANYTHING with your computer.

Run Recuva.
It is very simple to use.

Just remember that anything and everything that you do with your computer between the time that you deleted files that you wish to restore will reduce the chances of making a 'clean' recovery because of the simple fact that every 'act' performed may overwrite the file(s) that you wish to recover/restore.


Later, be sure to return to the Piriform site to also download CCleaner.

When you see what wonderful software they are providing you may be tempted to also grab Defragler...
Don't - It's still in Beta and not really stable enough for now.
