not sure if im in the right place but i need help! not sure what i've done but i no longer can preview or play files, please help...anybody? please!

You are using LimeWire or another Gnutella program? Which version are you using of that program?

What types of files can you not preview? Audio, video, images ... ?

sorry... not very precise am i? ok i am using limewire 5 and i cannot preview/play audio files when at one point i could and now completely cannot

If you are trying to play with with WMP, there is a known bug with WMP & LW. Did you update LW recently?
You could always try another player. If it's LW Player that is not previewing properly, then disable it in settings & instead try using your default audio player. Option is bottom left of Tools -> Options -> My Library. Actually disabling it, then re-enabling it might even do the trick. LW's media player can be a bit 'sticky' sometimes.

yes it's set to wmp, i'm thinking about just deleting limewire and downloading it again to see if that works i'm pretty good at deleting things i should'nt so i would not be surprised if i caused this problem.

Worth a try. But there is a known issue between wmp & LW 5. If you have VLC player .. you could set that to play audio files instead.

I have unofficial links to other versions of LW 4. As for LW 5.1.1 if that's what you had previously .. I don't have any links to it. I'd need to upload a copy to a file hosting site I guess.
