Is it just me? With 1.19 I never had problems, download or otherwise. Now I'm on 1.20 and I get lots of dropped/improperly served problems, and lots of restarts with attempted bug reports. I say attempted, because the link is usually broken and the reports end up clogging up my HD with text files. Happens on machines running WinME and Win2k with similar frequency.

WinMe has had lots more issueswith xolox than the rest of the MS family.. The program is still being dev'd, next release should be more stable.

I upgraded from 1.12 to 1.20 and its just a joke. 1.20 will run for about 2 minutes then crash. I'm running Windows XP.
I have now gone back to 1.12 again, until I can get a newer version working. Does anyone know what is happening with the 1.20 version? |

If it was any other program that was this unstable I would stop using it instantly. As I have been using Xolox for a long time I will try and help.
Most of the errors are Exception EAccessViolation in "SocketDataAvailable" Bytes read:1452 Total bytes read:2918 Exception message:Access violation at address 0041DFF7 in module 'xolox.exe'. Read of address 00000000 Connection type:11 Connection buffer length:1452 Connection buffer offset:81 Received packet: This is with version 1.20 build 177. It says there are no newer versions. |

There is a tread in the support section which explains how to fix this problem. You might want to check there. I am running Xolox on WinXP and have not had a problem.

It now seems to be working. I did not like having to loose all my partial downloads to get it to work though. I had 720 Meg in partial downloads which I have to start again now.
Thanks Neil |
