I have downloaded several files that were in and around the 1GB mark and have had no troubles. One thing I did notice was if I set my upload rate to the highest number (12) then the CPU usage did get rather annoyingly high. It seems to happen less at 11 and it seems to run perfectly at 10 (or lower). Of course the default here is only 3 so you can image that it should run perfectly for most users who don't change this setting. Athlon 900, 128MB RAM, WinXP, Cable Modem |
Sometimes, Xolox works great on Win XP. Other times, like today, it just freezes and gives my CPU the work out of it's life. Xolox is great anyway, when it works. |
Works better with XP than others! I had tons of problems running XoloX on my Win2k Server (caused reboots, corrupted its temp files, etc...), but it's been running much smoother on XP. Still, we need a bug-fix release *quick*. - JL |
Currently running XP PRO+XOLOX, get an error when I exit out, annoying because I get the stupid notify microsoft message! 1.3Gz, 1G ram |
