how to share files

I am pretty sure i am sharing, as i am pointing to the right directory, however, i can not see my uploads, i have my uploads visible on and my shares on or checked, but still i can not see my uploads. Am i truely not uploading? How can i tell?

Uncheck “my shares visible” and recheck “my uploads visible.” If you still don’t see any uploads visible under “transfers” then no one is uploading from you at that moment.

I have the same problem.
I add directory and extensions in preferences but it does not show any files in-Shares- window.
It says that i share 4 files and 0 MB
but it is not truth- i share 4 directories and many MB
What's the problem?
