Hello
Hi. I am a new user, trying to work my way through all the technical stuff.
 I wonder if anyone can help me with one problem I have encountered. I have downloaded a few movies, burned them on DVD+R discs, and they will play on the computer using Nero Showtime 3; but when try to play them on any other DVD player I get an error message that says "check disk"; or on my portable DVD player, I get folders (like it is JPEG files) and I can't open the files.  Can't figure it out and it is driving me crazy. Nice to be able to talk to a group who can help me figure this out. Anyone have any ideas???

Hi Linda. I'm assuming your using Nero. To play on a Dvd player you will have to convert the files. Not sure what version you have but you can check this out to see if it will help.
