Which OS are you using?

If Vista, do you have an administrator account?

If Vista, right click on LW's desktop icon > run as administrator. Now see whether the same thing happens.

Have you changed the location for saving downloads from the default?

Try changing LW's saving location. Tools > options > downloads > browse for a different location to save downloads > click ok to save the change.
