Hello, help, LW 4.18.8I do download some adult content, but keep getting directed to websites when I try to view the videos. How do I stop that??

don't download those types of videos....
there are embedded redirects in them... of course that's the obvious solution... you can, and should, use your firewall to block your media player from doing any sort of network (internet) activities...

Using VLC - (click on link) will prevent that happening. To make it your default player, see Setting Default video app.
In general for any type of video you seek, 50 MB or even 100 MB or larger is best. Also, avoid .mov & .wmv files. |

some of the best, nastiest, stuff is under 100mb ![]() I mean really, who needs all that foreplay stuff ![]()

Don't look for adult content on Limewire, you will be loaded with virus and spyware.

A couple of redirects I've seen with downloaded movies have looked like they came from Microsoft and Adobe. I visited the official sites and each said my software was up to date. The phony sites looked much like the real deal.
A recent Java update that arrived at my machine (I had forgot to turn off updates) caused my IE to not function; had to do a restore. Mannequin must have had "a friend" who downloaded mature content. |
