Cheesy Synching problems from Limewire 5.3.6 to Ipod Nano 8

My friend went and loaded some of her Limeware version 2.5 songs onto my Ipod when I first got my Ipod. Now I have gone to Limewire and have downloaded (only onto Limewire are these songs showing...not on Itunes) about 200 Limeware 5.3.6 version songs. When I plug my Ipod Nano 8 into my laptop (using Vista) to synch, the warning says "your Ipod is synched with another Itunes library. An Ipod can be synched with only 1 library." My options are "erase and sync" or "transfer all purchases." I have no purchases as I am using Limewire Basics and have never bought a song from Itunes. I don't want to 'Erase and sync' because I am scared I will erase all my friends music on her Ipod. Right now I don't care if I erase everything of mine. I just want to be able to get a playlist from Limewrire 5.3.6 to the Itunes library onto my Ipod to play in my car. HELP!!!!

Thanks

1. You will need to use the Manual update option of your iPod. Do not attempt to use sync!!! Otherwise yes, you will lose the songs already on your iPod.

2. Keep in mind that although you see a LimeWire playlist in iTunes, that list is simply for playing, it cannot be transferred to iPod. To get a better understanding, see How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes) {click on link}

There is free software that allows you to transfer files from iPod to PC or Mac, and vice-versa. Daniusoft iPod Music Transfer is free, runs on pc (mac?), and is very easy to use.

There are two other programs that can run on any platform. Floola is one (free version has nag screens). The other one is better, very easy, also free. Both can be loaded onto your iPod and run from there, on any platform (Mac. PC, and any OS). The free version doesn't do videos and sez it's limited to 4gigs, but I have it installed on an 8G, and it runs perfectly (though only copies To pods). I don't own an iPod, but just spent two days learning how to transfer music from my pc to a friend's pod. I've seen so many names that I can't remember the program I described, but if you Google it will be among the first on the list.

There are many free programs that make it easy to copy from iPod to computer.

Anyone know of a good, free program to transfer videos from pc to iPod?

Problem is .. I'm not sure that their music is actually in the iTunes music library. The LW playlist that shows in iTunes is non transferable to iPod, it is simply a playlist to show most recent songs downloaded from LW. iTunes manual transfer is easy once you've used it that way previously. Synching is non appropriate because it deletes the previous playlist on iTunes & replaces it with the fresh one on iTunes.
