Hey everyone, I'm tldbass from the great state of SC. This is my first time trying a forum (of any kind) and would like to get it right without to many mistakes. I would like to get the most from this form so if anyone willing help me I would really appreciate it.
OK, my O/P system is vista home premium, L/W 5.5.6 and using Dsl service. The whole reason for me being here at all was my attempt to install an older version of L/W after doing a complete restore of my laptop. I'll stop for now and maybe someone can let me know what to do from here. Thanks y'all

Which version of LW were you trying to install?

Try right-clicking the installer & choosing Run as Administrator. Also, turn off all computer security whilst you are attempting to install then turn it back on after completion of installation. You will need to make LimeWire (LW) an exception in your firewall & other security software.
