Default Limewire and McAfee

I have Limewire 5.8.8, just reinstalled hoping to cure problem. I have McAfee security. It will not allow the program to open because of some kind of "loopback" issue. I am a little lost here. I have added Limewire as a trusted site on my "Internet Options" and on McAfee. What am I missing? I have used this program before on this computer with the same security settings?

Loopback issue is usually a firewall issue. LW is not a site but a program so should be added as a program exception and perhaps even sub-rule exceptions for both TCP & UDP for all port ranges.

Also, best to turn your Windows firewall off.
