A dog is mad at me

My friend adopted a dog...i ve been at his place sometimes and the dog acted nice but now when i came to his place dog went crazy, he barked at me snraled at me an trying to attack me! What do i do? I was once bitten by dog heavily and i am sort of afraid of big dogs!That dog was like this the last two times i've been there...I would appreciate help.
