When you install software like LPE/LimeWire for Windows 7, it's best to right-click the installer & choose Run as Administrator. This solves some permissions issues. Likewise for Java installer should be done   
Even after it's installed you can do the same thing for LW/LPE shortcut on desktop. Can still do it for java but need to find the Java.exe file. Java is maybe a touch more important than LW to have it set to Run as Administrator. This is often a common problem for p2p programs to function properly on Windows 7.  |
