error message 1628 failed to complete installation
I tried to install 3 times. Each time resulted in error message 1628- failed to complete installation. I uninstalled each time and reinstalled. It installed Java2TM on each installation also. I uninstalled that too, but it did not help. The final attempt, I installed Java first, thinking that maybe that was the problem. Still had the same error message when I tried to install Limewire. ....Any suggestions?

Yes I have been able to thanks to Taliban's advice. Go to www.limewire.com/index.jsp/download_other. You can see the details more on my post "bundled junk" of 4-13-02 a little more down this post site. That address fixed the instal problem and also eleminated all the add ons. Joe
