Installer problems

I have used limewire before, until having to reinstall windows because of a hardware/software problem. Anyways, When trying to install Limewire on my Windows ME OS, and error message said to conact vendor to verify that this is a valid installer package. I know that i selected WINDOWS before downloading. I dont know what is wrong. I would be very grateful for any help. Thank You

which Internet browser are you using to download the installer? this often happens when AOL users use the AOL browser to download the installer. try another one, like Internet Explorer.

if that's not the problem, right-click on the download link and choose "Save Target As" or "Download to Disk."
