I decided that I probably won't be using this program, so when I tried to uninstall, it doesn't happen. I go to the control panel and try to uninstall it in add/remove programs, but everytime, I'm unsuccessful. I was able to uninstall limeshop, but not limewire. Please help = I want this off my computer!

What's the error message when you try to uninstall it?

There is no error message...it looks like it's going to uninstall it, but it doesn't go away. I was able to uninstall limeshop and the java applet, but not the actual program.

I'm having the same problem. Limewire appears in the ADD/REMOVE, but when I try to remove it, it still appears there.
It is LimeWire 2.2.4 The InstallShield Wizard window pops up and looks like it is going to start the uninstall, but then the window just goes away and that's it.

That's exactly what happens! What is up with THAT?!?!

I do not see Limewire in Add/Remove programs, nor do I see an uninstall program in the start menu. Is there another name I should be looking for in the Add/Remove section? How does one uninstall Limewire?

I was working on a machine this morning and from control panel add remove programs I get a grayed out box for change remove and no other way to uninstall. What is the solution ? Customer is not using this software and I want it off the machine. ??????????????????????????????????????

it happened to me too. I had to reinstall Limewire without uninstalling it, and then uninstall it

Has anyone heard a response as to remove this??
