Hi

I've just tried installing Limewire (latest version) after installing the Java Environment, as recommended. However I continually get the error "1608 Unable to create InstallDriver instance". I have followed the instructions in the FAQ regarding downloading isscript and changing dcomcnfg.exe settings but this has not helped. I've also uninstalled everything and tried again without success. I'm using W2K Pro. Does anyone have any suggestions as this software has come highly recommended and i'd like to start using it. Thanks!

I also tried the extra Windows installer you supply. For some reason it tells me that the Java Environment has not been installed - this is not the case as the icon is on the start menu and running. For your info it's "Standard Edition version 1.4.0"

Please can someone give me some advise. I've check previous postings about this error and no-one so far seems to have come up with any solution.

This program should be named lame_weird. After I have read all the infos available, I still have no success install it on XP. So this is goodbye for this p2p program. The Pro ver sion is probable useless too.
