I have had the same problem with the installations of the latest
Limewire versions, as numerous other users. I have tried every possible solution to get by the error 1603 " Can not uninstall the previous version.." but none has worked. I was not able to try the DCOM solution that was described here in the forum, because it looks like that DCOM is not available for my OS; Windows Millenium Finally I read in the forum that the Multilingual (Pro) version used a different installer so I tried it, and it worked. milys |

I have XP.....it appeared to install properly, but I could not launch. The only thing that worked was uninstalling and reinstalling with the 'multilingual' install.
