v2.4 Uninstall
Recently upgraded from version 2.4 to 2.7, running on Windows ME. Have checked the FAQ and user guide for this to no avail:
Can I safely uninstall the old version of Limewire using Add/Remove Programs, or does the new version use files that might get mistakenly deleted in the process? I did see a brief thread about hanging during 2.7 uninstalls... Thanks, Steve

There should be no need to uninstall the old version... 2.7 should have installed over 2.4, without creating an additional instance of LimeWire. If you look in Add/Remove programs, you should only see one current instance of LimeWire.
