I have the free version of limewire on my computer and it runs fine. I have Windows XP. I was thinking about upgrading to Pro. I was looking at the refund policy page on the internet. I saw the part that said you should run a test on your computer before you purchase pro. I ran the test and a black box came up for only a second saying "Connecting To 64.61.25.171...". It never said "Gnutella OK". So I'm not exactly sure what the test results were. Should I upgrade to pro? I'm not sure what to do. I don't want to pay for something that isn't going to work. Please help me.

As far as I know, there's no "test" by Limewire, though I have seen spam pop-ups on web sites for connections. You've already run the real test: the free LW works for you. Pro just gives you a chance at support, and no ads--there are no extra features. I think of Pro as a donation, not a purchase.
