There seems to be a .cab file or something missing from the windows installer for Limewire Pro 3.0.2 which stops it from installing.

My problem is (i'm sure) similar. When I try to install is says That I have another version installed. I went through each of my partitions and I see nothing. Do I have to go into DOS? I don't see anything in the registry (maybe I don't see it). I'm a intermediate computer person - I know enough to get myself into trouble! I'm desperate now!

You might try - Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs and uninstall any prior versions of Limewire.
