Calling all geniuses!! Need your help!!

Ok, I am computer illiterate!! I have installed the 3.something(can't remember) version of Limewire, well, I keep getting the error message 1748(I think) tells me something about needing to check my windows installer. Can someone PLEASE tell me what is the best thing for me to do to remedy this?? PLEASE!!Thanks!!

I get 1714 error message that says older version cannot be removed
THEN
I get error 1603 fatal error during installation
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

In this case you need to find the limewire folder on your computer and delete every thing except the origonal folder. Sometimes your computer sends some of the prefrences to places they shouldent go. This is probably caused by internal routing problems. Anyway after you delete everything in the folder try to install limewire again.
