I'm trying to uninstall Limewire from my laptop since I'm connected to a Lan and can't connect through it. When I tried to uninstall it using the add/remove programs thing from the control panel it said there was an error and that access is denied. Can someone help me please? As long as I can't use it here at school I don't want it taking up room on my hard drive.

go to registry edit and delete the underlined file:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\curr entversion\uninstall\limeshop.xml this should remove it from your add/remove list Last edited by ursula; April 10th, 2004 at 07:40 AM. |
