I have not found a solution on this site to the .msi error during install. Maybe it is here, but I couldn't find it.
Anyway, I discovered the error messages 1714 and 1603 are caused by a bad windows installer file, not by limewire. I found a fix at [URL] This fix is given for another program that gets the same error. At this site you can download a fix for whichever OS you use. I downloaded it, installed it, and ran it. Directions on using it aren't the best, but I highlighted every instance of Limewire in the list that the program brought up, then clicked remove. Next, I went to the limewire.exe install program and it worked perfectly. You have NO idea how happy that made me! Hopefully this works for you too |
