go bucks,

I am not sure what you mean by "bad for your computer". What issues are you having or what are your concerns?

Question ??

I have heard the if you do not customize limewire and kazaa you get a bunch of things downloaded on your computer with them. Many of these things are bad for your computer and slows it down.

go bucks,

I assume you mean spyware that comes attached to the programs.

I use Limewire Pro and there is no spyware attached to it. I have had no problems at all. It is true a lot of "free" programs are "adorned" with unwanted attachments but Limewire Pro does not have them.

Default Customisation of Limewire

Help required!!

After changing options, such as save directory, which directory to share, etc., I cannot apply these changes. I have had both the latest versions of the free and now the purchased versions of Limewire and neither of them show me the buttons for OK / CANCEL / APPLY.

Any help in this would be appreciated cos it means I cant share my MP3's at the moment

Andrew

ajm5807,

You should have an "apply" button at the bottom of the "options" window. Try moving your window up and see if your buttons are below the bottom of your screen.

Thanks Norm

The options window didnt show any scrollbars and I assumed that was the whole view......I had to manually drag the window bigger to see the buttons at the bottom.......could this be something that programmers could look at??

Thanks again
Andrew
