ok i fixed my installing problem. but when i installed the game it said would you like limewire to scan your computer for shared files. i said no. but now i need it to do that HOW DO I?? SOMEONE HELP THIS TIME?!

Hey some people have to sleep. But (un)fortunatley I don't sleep (rust never sleeps). And top of that I'm a mac person (what a terrible combination!) There's no way there should have been such a question put to you! I'd advise you scan your HDD for virus, spyware, etc. You always need to be careful of pc games, apps, etc. & scan them. On top of that, sometimes the files are incomplete (missing essential files.) Just be careful & always scan anything that is/uncompresses as an exe file! If you need a list of spyware detection software, write back & I'll see what I an muster!

when you INSTALL LIMEWIRE it asks you a QUESTION if LIMEWIRE CAN SCAN YOUR COMPUTER FOR OTHER SHARED FILES LIKE IF YOU HAD ANOTHER P2P AND U HAD MUSIC ON THAT P2P THEY WILL TRANSFER THE MUSIC FROM THE OTHER P2P TO LIMEWIRE. i needed to know how to have it scan....but never mind....

the only reason i was gettin pissed off is because ill ask and then somone else will post 2 days after me and ppl will come rushing to help them....like HEY LETS HELP THAT GUY F UCK YOU DALLAS!!

Ha ha hahaha I'm not from Dallas or anywhere else in the US! I only visit this part/section of the forum if I get the impression there's been some outstanding Q's for sometime. Windows is not my fortay so to speak. Sorry I misunderstood your point. But all the same, if it's only shared files it's asking about I'd say ok, but if it has anything to do with incomplete files from a non-LW app I'd say no. I'm not a windows person if I can help it (I hate microsoft as deep as it can go - money grabbing software stealing incompetents). So whilst I can run windows on my mac it's only as a last resort! By the way, Im not part of some sympathy group. If u knew my culture u might understand why. I'm not a sheeep. Although we have plenty of them for the slaughter here! No I'm not a s_ck A_ss.
