before limewire opens I get a magnet registry error "could not open the aux magnet key." Is this significant? I have also reinstalled it a few times and on the last attempt it said some errors had occurred during installation. The program seems to work but I could not uninstall the earlier version using the add/remove function. When I highlight it and click remove all of a sudden nothing happens! All responses greatly appreciated.

I forgot to mention I downloaded the earlier version on aol and have since uninstalled aol from my computer

when you uninstalled did you delete the files in the .limewire folder under c:\documents and settings\ "shared location"\ and the one in program files?
can you post the error message plz
