how do i uninstall LW?

i am soooo embarrassed. accidentally deleted the shared folder and can't get it back. anyway, i'm trying to uninstall LW 4.6 from my 'puter, so that i can re-install it. but i can't seem to get rid of the thing, and when i try to re-install from the LW website, i get an error message that tells me that an older version of the program is running, and to exit that first. i'm so , and i want to be again. please help. thanks.

Sounds like you have more than one version on your computer already. Search your computer for LW & see what comes up. For newer versions of LW go to Start menu>Programs>LW>Uninstall. For older versions of LW you can open Add/Remove Programs Control panel to remove LW. Otherwise there'll be an uninstaller inside your LW program folder.

May I suggest you updte you Java. Then download the LW installer & SAVE the installer to your computer. Then run the installer.
