You ought to use an anti spyware proggy on windows. If you still want to P2P without reformatting for LW, I suggest you trying Ares. http://www.aresgalaxy.org/ Less stuff and technologies than LW, but good nonetheless.

Yeah, I think that's probably what I did. The problem there is that I'm not sure what to delete and what not to delete, so I just delete it all.

Hmmm if that is the case and you deleted important registry entries you can put in you WindowsXP CD and select repair.

This should fix what you accidently deleted.

Well, I haven't run ad aware or spybot since I redid the whole system for the last time, so I haven't deleted anything. Does that make sense?

Well the only sense it makes to me is that 1. was the first thoughts of a virus etc. or 2. when you installed last time you didn't install everything or 3 like Raaf said something is corrupted, which could have happened during your installation.

It doesn't look or sound good. Did you try doing the repair.

I've only got 4 system restore discs...is that what you're referring to? Those are what I use to redo the computer.
