Default c:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT HELP!!

Whenever I try to install Limewire, I always hit a snag. It says i need to update my Java, which I do. Whenever that is done installing I get this dialog box that says:
16 bit Windows Subsystem<---Titile of box
c:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitbale for running MS-DOS
Microsoft Windows applications. Choose'Close' to terminate the Application.
Limewire then finishes installation but won't run because of the Java problem.

What can I do to fix this file so it can do what it needs to?!?!

What version of windows are you running?

What Version of Java do you have?

What Version of LimeWire do you have?

What type of computer are you using?

Thank you

Peerless left a link in his post that should take care of the problem your having. I clicked on it and didn't have any problems understanding the instructions. It gives instructions for XP also.

Give it a try if you want, and see what happens.
