update problem

I have tried to download the latgest version but when I boot up I stil have 4.4.5

I tried uninstalling the program [I am yet to reboot]

After uninstalling, setup tells me Limewire is running on my PC...but it is not!

Now I have neither on my system...and tips?

what version of windows.

If XP try ctr-alt-del this will bring up Task Manager check your processes to make sure LimeWire isn't running if so end it. Then try removing.

How logical - there was no sign of Limewire being alive anywhere on the pC so I should have tried the Task Manager
