Start-up

When I open limewire off a clean installation, I get the normal screen. Then, when it is supposed to go to the screen with the purple bar loading the components, I get a blank screen. Then, I get two more blank screens. The smaller is supposed to be the upgrade window and the other is supposed to be the actual program. I have tried all the different kinds of Java to no prevale. I have successfully installed limewire on three other computers. I am running windows XP pro. I have a feeling it is a Java problem, but I will check here first.
