Lime Wire coming up blank - Please help

Im using Lime Wire on Windows XP and it has been working fine up untill lately. A few days ago when i tried to start it up, my screen went black for a few moments followed by Limewire starting up, however when LimeWire started up it was simply a blank window consisting of one background colour (the normal background colour) and no options.

If you can help or this has happened to you then please reply.


P.s. I think it MAY be a problem with my java as a similar problem tends to come up with other applications which use java. (im only a noob so if what i just said is non-sense then i appologise, just thought i should mention it :-) )

Also check your video drivers. Attempt to update or roll them back to different versions to find one that works. I had problems with the new catalyst drivers and Java.

I un-installed LimeWire and Java then re-installed Jave followed by LimeWire. At first it worked but then after a while i had a memory dump and it all went back to how it was before. Thanks for the help though.

how much ram does your system have?

I have 1gig of 400mhz RAM, so i dont thing thats the problem :-p
