I cannot install limewire becuase it was uninstalled incorrectly before. It cannot remove old versions and therefore gives me an error when I try to install. i had version 7.4.262.
Could anyone tell me what files I need to manually remove so that I can install limewire again? |

I 'think' it was versions prior to LW 4.4 you needed to use the Add/Remove Programs control panel to remove LW. For the so-called international installer version, there was an uninstaller within the LW program folder.
For the later versions, you go to the Start menu >Programs>LW>Uninstall. You can also find this uninstaller within the program folder. So I'd suggest you work out which version you had & try the add/remove control panel or find the uninstaller. |
