I paid for lifetime..now can't get it

I was a satisfied limewire lifetime member until my computer crashed and I had to reinstal everything that was on it. When I paid $38 for a lifetime membership, I truely believed that that at least meant more than a few months. I have had limewire less than a year...which doesn't mean lifetime to me. I have tried using my email 2 addresses to log into limewirepro, and can't. I really don't want just basic, because I have already paid for the good stuff. I very much want to be a satisfied customer again Please help!!!

You were tricked. The real LimeWire (which is only available at http://www.limewire.com ) costs $18.88 for six months. There is no life-time membership if you buy the real thing.

I did pay nearly $40 for the service on limewire.com, same site as I am on now! It hasn't even been a year, and it was marketed to look like a lifetime membership...and It did work as I downloaded songs before. I paid for a premium service, and was not dupped because I had it and it worked. I charged it on credit card...and limewire.com got the money. At anyrate, I am not getting the service I paid for anymore since the computer crashed. AND I know it hasn't been a year even since I paid this $38 to limewire. I am not stupid, just want answers and advice. I really liked the service limewire gave me....I just didn't want it to end so quickly. I only got 6 months of use for that $38 and have been trying to get it back since then. I could not have been duped, as I said, because I got it and paid for it on this exact site.

Umm this is a forum site. It does not offer files or programs for downld. Sounds to me like you paid that money for the FREE version of LW (LW Basic.) So just go to the above site & get it for free! I don't remember ever seeing any kind of lifetime membership on www.limewire.com in fact I am sure they never had anything like that.

but it was paid on this website...even is I was confused about it being lifetime membership...I did pay $38 to limewire on this site for a premium service that I am no longer being provided. I am asking for a way to be able to redownload the premium limewire service that i did have before my computer crashed. I did doenload the free basic now...but what I had before was the upgrade version with more files and faster downloads. Please don't give me sarcasim as what I am asking for is help. Once again let me reassure you that I am not an idiot or a scammer, just a person who lost the premium service that I paid for....and received it for less than a year....at a cost of $38 dollars.
